      • My concern is not signing Rio but if Ned gets injured its back to playing dads army in defence Hill/Rio/Dunne. No pace

        • This is a great forum I must admit.

We've got scouts, agents who know players wages & add ons, doctors who can diagnose injuries & best of all clairvoyants who can see into the future & tell us how many games a players going to make!!!

          Amazing stuff!!

Some of you are so cringey & embarrassing it's untrue.

No wonder others call this place fantasy island f##k me.

          • I'd take him for the right price and obviously fitness permitting.

Must admit I have warmed to him this World Cup. Think he has come across really well..... Hopefully he will do the business on the pitch for us as well.

But you don't get the point do you? You keep banging on about signing ageing superstars. You're the most star-struck of the lot. All you're interested in is signing big names. Look where that took us! Isn't it about time you stopped cheer leading for Ferdinand? It's boring zzzzz.

You mention Dunne and Nelsen. I counter with Dyer and Johnson.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

                • Actually want ince, Morrison and chalker but better sides than us are in for the best young talent. Want people that will improve our squad from last year which ferdy does regardless of age and fame

This is exactly my concern.... and its only a matter of time until a soldier falls.

                        • I'm going to duck out of this Ferdy worship nonsense. I've made myself quite clear that I'm opposed to his signing and detailed the reasons why.

I am willing to eat humble pie if he plays 30 games for us next season and plays well. However, if he doesn't do any of that, then I will remind Sparky and Bunny of this thread who appear to be the biggest champions of his signing.

                          • I think he may surprise a few people as he is a solid defender and is no slouch

                              • Rio Ferdinand has agreed a deal to sign for newly promoted Queens Park Rangers. The 35-year-old has been persuaded to take a massive drop in wages after hearing Harry Redknapp’s plans for how he can help the London club on their return to the Premier League.
