Yeah...fair enough....I don't know why anyone thinks it'll be different this time around tbh. I think leaving Real Mad for us was too big a step down, as well as not suited. Didn't think or post this at the time
I admit, but having seen how that season panned out and then saw Mbia go and be a different player abroad as well tells you they are either not suited or didn't want to give everything for the team

I would still give him a chance until Jan Window.
No point letting him go on the cheap, might as well use him and at the same time put him in the shop window.
Parejo was poor when on loan, but now is wanted by a lot of clubs in Europe including Liverpool.
Mbia is now wanted by Liverpool and Everton apparently as well.

It'll be the best thing he's done for us, is leave.

Still think there is a good player in their somewhere and I think he could do a decent job but if he wants to leave then no point standing in his way

Hard to judge him as a player when he was in one of the worst QPR teams i've ever seen. Still think he could be decent. I'd like to see him play for us next season and take it from there.

Can't help thinking that if he returns, as soon as he has a bad game he will get absolutely lambasted as a Hughes signing.

Because fingers crossed he might be playing in a team who are not getting hammered every week , a poisonous dressing room and we might actually have a game plan.

If the fans can chant Bartons name at the Sheff Wednesday game after all the **** he had given us then hopefully they will give players like Granero a 2nd chance

Barton proved himself to the fans by putting a shift in for the shirt week in, week out. If Granero can do likewise then fair enough.

obviously has some good ability - you don't play for Real Madrid and Spain under 21's if you are no good.

I remember being at White Hart Lane and his performance in the first half was one of the best displays I can remember. Unfortunately, consistency was a problem. Maybe, wrong time in the wrong team.

Probably give him another chance with a new attitude in the team and at the club, he may yet flourish

In the middle with Faurlin they totally bossed the flow of the game. Spurs couldnt deal with it.

Also had a decent game at the famous win over the scum at their place.

My point is he hadn't done anything before the Sheff Wed game to deserve people chanting his name so if we can do that to Barton then we need give Granero a chance

True, but it was after a number of MoM performances that people really started to accept him.

Yeah the dressing room was awful apparently, but i'm not sure he has the will or the desire for a club that are going to be at best mid-table.

You could say Real Sociedad are mid table at best. Show a bit of love and he'll come good.
