Even if we are in for him Beards not going to come out and say yeah we're talking to him. Will alert other clubs and will most likely push his wages up. I think we work differently now, much more wise regarding agents and that.

He's touted himself round half the clubs in Europe. Signing Tom Ince is not exactly an under-the-radar operation...
How much would his fee to Blackpool be if we signed him?
It will go to a tribunal, and Blackpool rate him at £8million.
How do they decide what value at a tribunal anyway?

They dont, they can value him at whatever they want but its the tribunal that decides. It will be a similar fee to Hoilett, 4mil or so I reckon

Or we'll at least use Hoilett as an example. Hoilett was a similar age to Ince when he signed for us so they'll argue similar price for similar talent.
as i said on here a couple of days ago....................
Queens Park Rangers CEO Philip Beard has denied holding talks with Tom Ince after discussing targets with Harry Redknapp on Tuesday.
Ince, who becomes a free agent when his Blackpool contract expires this month, has been linked with a move to Rangers this week.
Beard did not say if the 22-year-old was on manager Redknapp's list of players that he wants to bring to Loftus Road, but assured fans that there was nothing happening on that front at this time.
He told Sky Sports: "We're being linked with every name in football and that's the territory we're in, but nothing to report on Tom Ince, we've had no discussions at all on Tom Ince.
"I sat down with Harry for two or three hours yesterday - he's the master at bringing in the right type of character. And I think that's the message to all QPR fans - we want to find the right type of player."
Beard is busy planning for the start of the season and says Rangers are now shopping in an international market as a result of their promotion back to the top-flight of English football.
"A lot of hard work has already gone in," he added.
"As soon as that final whistle went and we had an evening of celebrations, the next morning we started planning. For anyone in the playoffs you have a plan A and a Plan B. I was really delighted we could put plan B in the cupboard and we could get plan A out.
"I've spent a lot of time with Harry and the owners. We know we need to strengthen a bit and we're going to work hard to see if we can put a squad together that can compete in the Premier League this time.
"We don't need to make wholesale changes, we just need to add a bit of quality to what is an experienced squad.
"We need to be sensible. Being in the Premier League means that you can have a good look around, not just domestically but internationally. We have a fantastic group of scouts, Harry has over 30 years of experience in football. There are some talented people out there but you need a team, a really focused squad, [players] that are going to work really hard in training."
That means nothing!! Beard isn't going to say yes we are. Will put other clubs on edge
Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes

it does not matter what beard hides or not. every club in europe knows the player is available not to mention the fact that if were in talks ince snr would be notifiying the world so as to get his son a better deal.
you can choose what to believe but i believe the beard on this one.
According to Beard we are not in discussions with tom ince. so much for this rumour.

To be fair Beard is hardly going to come running out saying we're going to sign him or anyone else for that matter. For me he's a very good championship player who never really cut it in the prem for Palace so why would he be different for us?
Glad we ain't telling the world our business tbh...PB would be hammered on here if he did
Hopefully we a re learning our lessons from past mistakes ie pretty much alerting every f***** and his dog that we are intending to sign so and so then missing out last min.
