    The funny thing is TW I actually agree with you despite me starting this thread. Maybe its because I'm a new dad that I've gotten into it. Before my boy was born I'd take me old man out for few beers and just a card for the old lady on mothers day nothing special no fancy dinners or anything. As for valentines day me and the missus have only honestly celebrated it once and that was for our 1st year..... but all that said it is nice being able to celebrate father's day as a father so maybe I mite get into it again...

        Agree tdubya, I don't buy flowers on Valentine's . I do it off the cuff,kids got me a lovely pair of slippers today.silly children, they don't know that they've just handed me the best tool a father can use.bless em

            i think tdubya may be a product of quite a cold public school upbringing.....not his fault.....more likely had to dress for dinner and address his father as sir butteo.............................get it!

              spent my day painting up the nursery for the expectant little Hitgirl. due on aug 8th.

              just got to get a friggin carpet.

                            Went out in Wimbledon to watch England last night got in at 4am. Boy come in with my card and present at 7.30. Got me brilliant play off photo canvas with all the boys but the best was little models of Harry tony and the man Zamora. Won't put bobby down haha. Top day

                              tell you what F, those early morning showers were effing COLD!!!!!! not to mention the pre brekky country runs whilst all you state lot were being pampered by mummy with home cooked breakfast. It was tough.
