  • Pirlo 35 Years old

Would drag my plums over broken glass to have him in the middle of the park for QPR even if it was just for one season but I have no doubt the usual seekers of doom would be in meltdown if we got linked with him given his age

I take my hat of too him what a player he is!!!! if their is a better passer of the ball in the current game im yet to see him

Also how the hell did we have what six players (youngsters) all down with cramp and Pirlo who is pushing 36 never went down once and strolled through the game. He is so casual and calm on the ball and he just floats about the pitch did he even break sweat once!!!!

Exactly what England miss in middle of the pitch if we had him well we would be a unrecognisable side

He wouldn't improve us cos our players wouldn't make any space or runs to make it worth his while playing. We would make him look shìt!

We have a poor mans Pirlo in Granero if we can get a tune out of him

Not sure Granero is anywhere near as cultured as Pirlo. I'm pretty sure that Tom Carroll fancies himself in the deep lying playmaker role but that certainly didn't work for us last year!

Regardless he will not handle or cope with the PL.

He was talking about granero West.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Put Pirlo in the team last year he would have looked a bit like Niko/Yossi
He would have looked cultured and skilled and retaining the ball
but have less time to get his head up (cos of closing down + energy of english/championship footy)
and few many runs to pick out (because the wingers/forwards at the club just dont make them)
He could def hack it in the EPL but would need quality around him else he could be double marked out the game

Like a fine wine gets better with age. For the past 4 years he has been the worlds best in that position.
