By all accounts it was not a surprising performance as he has played like that for Olympiakos (?) If Wenger lets him go on loan again then he's a tool. Same if JM lets Lakaku go out on loan again. I think Arsenal would want 10m+ for Joel if they were stupid enough to sell.

"sign him up" "wouldnt cost alot" lol

yeah, played champions league and now world cup. 21 yo it would cost anything between £15mil - 20mil to get him. plus dont think he would want to join us when he is used to champions league football in front of 50k fans each week.

some people are living in dream world.

I see your point but don`t agree.
Yes he`s played in the CL but only because he`s on loan to Olympiakos from Arsenal.
Can`t see Arsenal playing him week in week out, Neither can I see Olymiiakos buying him.
£15-£20 Million is a figure plucked out of the air (really can`t see anyone paying that).
However if Arsenal are still interested in Remy surely there could be a deal to do.
I`d say swap with Remy plus £6-£7 Mil would be a fair deal...
The lure of playing in the Prem every week would surely be tempting..

Does he have work permit yet? That's why Arsenal been loaning him all over Europe. If ha have a permit, then i would love to have him season long loan, because don't think they will sell him

I'd snap Arsenals hands off to take him off Remy + cash. Looks a proper prospect.

A loan deal would be perfect for all parties. He seems pretty good from the few games I watched. He needs to show he can handle the PL and then maybe he'll get a proper chance at Arsenal. We could cut our costs while we try to build a better team for the PL. If he doesn't perform he goes back. If he performs he goes back or if they already have too many forwards we could sign him up.

Totally agree. Lets get him in on a season long loan as part of the remy deal if it goes through. Would benefit both parties and would add a bit of quality and pace to our forward line.

He's pony. Like less gifted Altidore. He lucked in scoring a CL goal against Man Utd to boost his profile. Awful player

Think we need to establish whether he can get a work permit here before we think about getting him on loan. never been an advocate of signing players based on world cup performances, players raise there game for their countries (apart from england) not sure if they can be as consistent throughout the season

First time I find myself agreeing with madara, worth trying to get him in on loan.

Someone comparing him to altidore, deary me

The work permit issue was sorted last year, he is good to go in this country.

Ask a few Olympiacos fans down Green Lanes. They've seen him all season, not jus a handful of WC games and agree without a seconds thought that he's pony.
