Whoops did not see your thread Stanley mate! Regarding the article, would take Defoe all day long, but i'm not too sure about the other two. Rio used to be a world class defender and although he's on the way down he could do a job for us, as could Lampard..but after hearing various Fernandes interviews I would have thought we'd be going for youngsters. Defoe may be a good player, but not sure I'm keen, because even if he does well the team will be completely disrupted in jan when he leaves. Looked what happened hen Nelson left....
I'd rather a decent std striker who we sign and can settle in and play all season.
Also not keen on loads of loans.... Do they really care about our plight, no.Comment
