Also when he initially signed it was said he was on £50k same as Green, which isn't extreme in the world of prem wages, especially as on a free and such high profile.

He made a few errors, but no more the Green who's flavour of the month again. People have very selective memories on here.
That's the problem, rumours stating wages of anything from 80k+ but who actually knows for sure.

Unless i hear Fernandes or Redknapp state for a fact what his salary is i am inclined to ignore paper/forum rumours.

I just Wonder how he functions in a team/squad on a daily basis? No doubt in my mind that he is a top,top keeper, but is he too big for his shoes?
Ps. I am more a fan of the character cesar after having seen this video. Great personality,it seems like.

This. A total wrong un. Get rid of him. He can't play in English football because he cannot command his line. It doesn't matter now many shots he stops, however spectacularly, if he cannot manage crosses and corners.

I think it was Green or Nedum who said in an interview that some of the older pros at the club never allowed the new signings to join in with anything and kept them in the shade. I think this is one of the reasons Mackie got the hook and think this was also a comment about Derry. Derry last season was very active on Talksport and did on occasions come across like its them and us which did raise concerns as he would have been one of the people the fans would put up as an example of what the club represented

Certainly not knocking Derry and Mackie etc but we have done alot of finger pointing about new signings being mercenaries but perhaps we needed to point the finger a little bit closer to home. Adel is not my favourite player but Derry used to nail him live on the radio at every opportunity he was given and as you say Ricky the absence of any congratulations from the likes of Mackie and Derry speaks volumes especially when it has came from Rambo and other former players
Sure it will all come out eventually and then many will be surprised (with the odd exception) who the problems were, remember its hard to settle at a new club in a new country and strange how many have gone on to do pretty well elsewhere.

You clearly haven't been watching green very closely then!

He commanded his line well in Canada, didn´t he? The last time he was at QPR he played his football under chaotic circumstances in a fragmented team and I should believe without knowing a word of the native Language.
                  Just my take at it.

Cesar had a excellent January, 4-5 games, but rest of the season was just mediocre. He was clearly the weakest goalie with crosses and corners in the Premier League. Punched almost every ball. Met him once and he seems to be a polite and nice guy, but hopefully not our goalkeeper next season.

salad is on too much money to be at our club. yes, its the chairmans fault but i question salads motivation as he almost sacrificed a world cup just so he could train with the eds and pick up 70 large each week.

if he was crying about leaving canada, maybe he should take a paycut and sign for them on a perm. after all, he is deeply upset about leaving them isint he

Never a truer word spoken BUT surely you are referring to Green!

Honestly never known a keeper be so poor at coming off his line for crosses and corners. I'm sure he knows it, the club know it and so do other teams.
The worst part of his keeping ability which in the Premiership is gonna be ruthlessly exposed week in week out.

Every team we played second half of the season put in crosses and corners across the 6 yard line as they all knew Green wouldn't come for them.

                              My take is...
I just don`t want to go back to 2 years ago, and he would remind me too much of that.
Cesar is/was a quality keeper, but for us was good but also had bad games (like almost every keeper).
Our whole team was awful and disjointed, our defence was (most of the time) shocking, Conference style defending.
But the main thing is his apparent refusal to play in the Championship for us, that really sticks in my throat (I know we arn`t privy to the actual circumstances, so could be untrue).
But all it seems he wanted was to join some other club, Now were back in the Prem he`s willing to play for us again.
I think he is a better keeper than Green, BUT Green showed his worth by sticking with us and deserves his place in the team.
Having said that we really do need a good quality back up (Al Habsi- Wigan) would be my first choice (also happy to bide his time on the bench).
