  • Harry's Experience Can Keep QPR Safe

Thought this was a good read:
'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

It will be interesting to see what kind of side Harry puts together for a stab at surviving in this division, he's the man and I do trust his judgment!

      This was actually Clint's idea.

"It took him two minutes to hatch a plan, sending on Karl Henry to reinforce midfield, but taking off Clint Hill and keeping Zamora as well as Charlie Austin on the field so he still had some attacking threat. It worked perfectly, as Derby found ten men more difficult to break down than 11 and then switched off in the vital last minute for Zamora's winner."

No the second leg was Hills idea. The final was Harry with Joe and Kevin.

yeah that is what the people involved say and it was on the podcast thingy too.

but tbh it is a non issue anyhow. smart managers, in football or anywhere, take advice from as many good sources as possible (and they do get plenty of advice). The key is to select the correct piece of advice and that is the manager's decision. tbh though quite often it is a case of avoiding the crap advice and selecting one of the good suggestions. also you need a good culture within the football side of the club where the senior pro's are on the ball, feel comfortable chipping in, but also being tested all the time too. so whoever suggested doing whatever thing it is one person making the final call and the important thing is that the result prove it correct.
