The ones I bumped into though a little inbred looking and a bit slow seemed alright and took defeat fairly graciously. Mclaren was always fair in his assessments and their players stood and clapped us which is pretty decent.

Yes it is a very even league where any team can beat anyone on their day, however the finishing in the championship is miles away from premier league level. Some of the games we won last season 1-0 were woeful and if we were playing a mid table side lost swansea we would of lost 5 or 6 with some of the glaring chances being missed. Against Sheff wed they should of been 4 up against us, ok 1st game of the season but there were plenty of other games like this. So why I agree that I wouldn't fancy taking on some of the sides in that division this year, every game next season will feel like a cup final because we will have to play out of our skin to get some points on the board.
          Totally agree.
Last season we really could have been in serious trouble.
Nicking results in games we really should have lost made up about 80-90% of our points, there were only a few games we were the better team, that just wont happen next season so something has to give.
My point was you just can`t call the championship whoever is in the league, Relegated teams struggle and promoted ones do very well a lot of the time.

Agree - their fans were almost universally horrible - aimlessly lashing out at families and scarfers down Wembley Way

Still makes my day when watching Zamora's goal and Sky cut to the Derby fans and there's the fatty in the red top who clearly mouths "Fookin' w@ankers" to those around him.

            Great stuff.

As much as I enjoyed The Championship the club needed to get the big payday from promotion after 2 financially disastrous seasons trying to stay up! I agree that we did well to get out of there at first attempt as it could be even tougher next season!

Have to laugh at the doom mongers on here sometimes don't you? The new fixture list hasn't even been published yet and some fans have already written us off. Probably the same people who said we had no chance of making the playoffs, no chance of beating Wigan, and no chance of beating Derby.

The solution is simple. Save your time and money and don't go to any games if you think we're going to get walloped.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Was a massive achievement think only 4 clubs have bounced straight back since the prem started.

Haha, I notice that every time I watch THE goal, It`s almost as good as watching it hit the back of the net itself.

Bolton will do much better this season imo, there squad is better than most think and had a poor term last season, the championship is low on quality but is the most difficult league to play in , its not always the best footballing team that prevails , you have to be ready for a whole season of battles with totally different styles of play. At least in the prem you get more time on the ball for the more technical player to have more of an impact, my three to go up Wigan, Norwich , Reading ...

                            The Championships a $hit division!!!!!

Full of of teams who are either to good for league 1 or to $hit for the premiership! More than happy to be out of that pony league. I know I've said it before but considering there's a thread dedicated to it I thought I should voice my opinions once again.

So to recap... championship p00, premiership the dogs nuts (some how that's a good thing)

So do I, despite their fans acting like right kn0bheads in the lead up to the final. They deserved to win and it was very cruel on them imo.
                              But hey ho, that's football

Last season everyone was worried about us.
