So glad we are not in the championship next season. Norwich just bought grabban, Cardiff bought well already, Wigan bought 2, derby strong already, Fulham will do well. Forest under Pearce will feature, Blackburn were on a roll end of season. That league will be so so tough

Totally agree mate. Was so important to get out of this league this year. I think it would of been harder to go up in the championship then staying up in the prem. Lots of good teams who are all evenly matched in that league.
Personally think if we hadnt of gone up we could of been stuck in their for 2 or 3 years. Plus side is I genuinely think fulham will struggle to come back up

It's going to be very tough, and another team to add to that list is Wolves. They'll will surprise everyone imo, very good set of players. Dicko, Sako and Clarke absolutely wrecked league 1 and could cause some damage in the champs as well. Double promotion on the cards I reckon.Last edited by SuperHoopNik; 05-06-2014, 01:00 PM."When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

Iv`e always said that the championship is the hardest division in england ( hear me out).
The top teams in the prem can buy the best players and achieve success, but in the championship money doesn`t equal going up, just look at Cov, Borough, Wolves, Forest and lots of others.
Look at Burnley this year, the were favourites to go down.
So glad we got out at the first time of asking, we could have been there a long time...

Yes it is a very even league where any team can beat anyone on their day, however the finishing in the championship is miles away from premier league level. Some of the games we won last season 1-0 were woeful and if we were playing a mid table side lost swansea we would of lost 5 or 6 with some of the glaring chances being missed. Against Sheff wed they should of been 4 up against us, ok 1st game of the season but there were plenty of other games like this. So why I agree that I wouldn't fancy taking on some of the sides in that division this year, every game next season will feel like a cup final because we will have to play out of our skin to get some points on the board.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I reckon Wolves will do well under Jacket, Brentford have been together for a few years now and will do well...agree with Wigan, Forest, Cardiff and norwich.
Team out of the pack?.....Bolton..

I thought I could hear you booing when Zamora scored. Come on mate ffs, enjoy the premier league.
You're sounding like a very sad individual, can't you at least try and sound a little more positive.I played sunday league football today.

Don't let's forget Leeds of course I'm sure I speak for all of us (well the extremely deluded Marshy anyway) when throwing their name into the hat
All jokes aside, the nature of the Championship next season means it will be tougher than ever before - and that reason alone is why it was crucial for us to go back up at the first attempt. The Board could have stomached the financial side of not being promoted this year, probably so long as it happened within, say, 3 years to ensure that the training ground, new stadium and all their financial deals (such as Nike, Air Asia) all remained on track. But the reality is, getting promoted next season and subsequent ones would have been an even harder task than the one which proved to be pretty damn hard enough this year.#standuptocancer
