If Arry goes with one upfront could Hooper play that role ?
Matt Philips is six foot plus and that's unusual for a winger could he be the second striker if Arry wants to go with two ?
I think Arry will go for a target man as Charlie is not gonna play every game with his wholehearted style of play.

Cant take away wembley and wigan from the bloke and wouldn't dream of doing so. But watching him the last two years hes been abysmal. You could count maybe on both hands the good moments he has had.
Seems to me those two performances are enough for most to forget how bad he was most of the year. Most of us who have watched games or been on here during the games have been tearing our hair out at how bad and uneffective hes been. Cost us a few goals this year from attacking postions and his crosses as west said hardly ever get past the first man or go in the stands.
Hence why loads nick named him toilet.

          Official quote our end:

However, City boss Neil Adams has made it clear to the 26-year-old striker he has a big role to play at Carrow Road next season after a disappointing first year at the club.

“There’s been no transfer request from Gary Hooper,” confirmed Adams. “I spoke to him two days ago and told him he’s one of the players we need to keep. He can score goals, Gary Hooper can. He will be a big part of the squad, along with many, many others.

“So I understand – there’s bound to be this sort of speculation and rumour, and somebody can make a throwaway comment that suddenly becomes national news.

“But Gary Hooper has not handed in a transfer request and I’ve told him I need him here to hopefully be part of pushing this team back into the Premier League, and he was happy with that.”

What do you think of Neil Adams, Wiz?

Must have already set the record for the worst points to games ratio for a Norwich manager.

Would love to know on what basis those that want us to sign believe he is a prem striker. Failed last year and has only ever scored goals at Championship and below and is very one dimensional and not suited to the london striker role we will employ in most games.

We needs a second striker for sure. Be it Hooper, Rhodes....Charlie cannot do it on his own. And if he get injured? We all know what happened this season...we nearly blew it without him. Don't expect a striker playing for us in the Premier scoring 20 goals. If someone hit 10 - 12 goals, I assume he will be okay. If we want a player that score 20+, then we have one and he's on his way out!

First rate coach and the games he's had in charge Sir Alex would have struggled brighton.

He wasn't my first choice but I'll just have to keep my 6 fingers crossed he comes good.
