SAMI MOKBEL: Norwich striker Gary Hooper has told the club he wants to leave this summer following the club's relegation, Sportsmail can exclusively reveal.

See we linked to Hooper I know he turned us down and wasn't great last year but anyone fancy him if the fee was low . 2-3m ?

Facto will probably swing by Godfrey's of Hornchurch and get an answer on that one.

Would love him at qpr. Don't blame him at all for going to a prem team over us. 8 goals in 23 in a poor team is a good return and think him and another striker from the championship we'd have decent options upfront.

Blokes a c ock and used us last time to get a better deal elsewhere.

Decent player on his day but better options out there for us. Let him rot in Farmville.

............ and 6 goals in 32 Premier League games hardly shouts 'SIGN ME!' to me.

Any half decent player with aspirations would choose prem over championship. Can't hold that against him.

            Used badly under Hughton.

I would take gable on him if fee was reasonable , think him and Austin would be a decent partnership . Wouldn't expect him to be on more then 30k and would have a point to prove after last season

Going to stick my head out and say in my humble opinion im not convinced he's a premier league striker. He to me has no attributes that really stand out

We've talked about bringing in the "right sort" of player. Does that describe him? Methinks not.

Daily mail said 8 goals in 23 starts last year. If that's then that's pretty decent. 1 in every three games. Not bad for someone playing in a poor team and first season experiencing life in the premier.

a joey barton quote when replying to mbia on twitter springs to mind.

"you were part of the team that was relegated, do the decent thing and help them get promotion"

Loic Remy got 6 in 14 in a side destined for the drop, tearing itself apart and with no unity or team spirit and he was injured most the time. Hooper got 6 in 32 in a team that fought to the end no comparison

Could have legs this as I know Norwich are apparently going to go all out for Jordan Rhodes. Would prefer Rhodes if I'm honest.

2 goals v Watford res in the League Cup doesn't amount to much with me. 6 in 32 PL appearances last season.

"And Queens Rangers and Aston Villa are among the clubs interested in taking the forward from Carrow Road"

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how reliable the Mail is.
