He aint needed now, we need Prem class not pretenders.
What and thats hoopers fault? the board should of rectified that problem in january. He made a choice to join norwich over us in the summer and think its harsh to hold that against him.
Where is this prem class coming from then because thats going to cost serious money and most of us atm are talking about wanting us to go for unproven players in the prem like rhodes, deeney, mccormack.
I respect people opinion if you really dont rate him but to see people mugging a player of because he chose a prem team over us last summer is a bit of a joke, especially holding him respnsible for our dry periods through xmas and the end of the season.

6 goals in 32 games isn't what we need irrespective of him s hitting us last season, I remember him stalling for what seemed like forever till another better deal came along.
Good for him he chose Farmville ahead of us when we wanted him last year, but the boots on the other foot now tho and he is no way good enough as his record last season showed.

Yeh Prem quality comes at a cost and Chas may or may not be able to step up, but I do know that Hooper isn't good enough and that is that I'm afraid.

This aint me thinking hooper is second coming or anything just think some of the comments are little harsh and over the top.
        Well, yes.
Look at his attitude towards Norwich. Signs for them because they were Premiership, and now wants to desert them after relegation to the Championship.
Not the type of player I want to see again at Loftus Rd. Had my fill of them last time around.

To be fair to him, it wasn't long ago he was scoring goals in the Champions League for Celtic. Can see where he's coming from if he doesn't want to play the likes of Rotherham.

Firstly there are no comments from him saying he wants to go, plus why believe the newspaper on this because it's not our club yet don't believe what's written when it's about us? Some people need to do more with their lives.

It's simple really, he scored goals for a sh1t team in a sh1t league, at premiership level he is sh1t!

Would sign him up on Decent fee and wage. People saying a player turning us down,fc uk em off need to remember some of the real c@ nts we have had here recently. He chose a team that had a great chance of staying up compered to a team that a lot of our own fans thought would be pushing a top six at best.
A player not given a Proper go imo. At the right price there will still be a Championship in for him if it didnt work out. Still we could always go for a crouch eh. Could see him fitting in nicely with our new found togetherness. Hard to judge a player on his first season at that level when used like that but can see a player quick off the shoulder and know where the net is. Get another Decent striker in as well and austin, hooper, zamora and hitchcock would see us thru till jan and give us a chance of another stewards.

The lad chose norwich because he believed playing in the prem would give him a chance of playing for England.
It hasn't worked out but for 3-4 mill I'd have a gamble.
And for what it's worth here's my players I would get
                    Craig Gordon free- cover
                    Kyle naughton -4m
                    Rio free
                    Williams 3m
                    Carroll 2.5 m
                    Niko 3 m
                    Tom ince 4m
                    Hooper 4 m
Offer wolves 1m for Doyle and Ohara for the squad

                    Sell remy for 10m
                    Granero for 3
                    Adel for 4
                    And you've got a net spend of 3 m

Sorry lads but the days of players like Gallen, Bircham are long gone unfortunately' Gallen prior to his injury was prem class. Would also have been people on here saying Bircham isn't good enough for the premier league, but he loves the club so would you keep him regardless? Yes if you want to remain a championship side & no if you have higher ambitions. You decide where you want our club to be. Players are going to go where they think they can get the most money/success & who are we to say that's wrong? If someone offered you a better job with more money would you turn it down? Way of the world I'm afraid.

lets not forget he was hoping to force himself into the England WC squad so no wonder he chose the Yokels over us.... I've always thought that he was a very decent striker who will bag you his fare share over a season.... However, I would love us to sign Rhodes in stead but can't see it somehow but, TF and the board are not that silly to let us go into the PL without what is felt to be adequate fire power.... I hope...

I wouldn't judge him based on his performance last season. Probably found it difficult fitting in, having the right number of fingers and toes and all......
