Think rio went missing a few times last year but dont think he enjoyed moyes era at all. Rio on a decent wage with his playing time sensibly managed on a 1 year deal would be a decent signing imo.
Cant be signing players like rio on anymore than 1 year deals imo at their age.

Agreed. Puts us in a good position to stay up and build. Prem status gives players confidence in the club. The new stadium will be a game changer. We'll be a first choice destination. Not having to compete with other clubs for a signature.

Harry came in and took on a complete shambles

I know lots of R's fans have mixed views about him but at the end of the day, he got us back up at the first time of asking.

He weeded out some of the bad eggs and worked on getting a decent team spirit. I know we didn't play very well in the championship but we're up and that's all that matters.

Now we need to get better quality in, Harry and his mob know that better than us.

I trust him to bring the right types in and get us established

It's taken this long to get the dressing room back under control, for ****s sake don't ruin it again by bringing in wholesale changes on massive wages ........
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

I think we have to take the opportunity to get rid of some big wages, and deadwood Young, SWP etc, but we must keep enough of the side to keep the spirit so any newbies fall into line
with Joey and the boys...I'd be tempted to keep Bobby, maybe renegotiate terms and use as we did in the champs.
I think we should offer O'Neil a new contract, and keep Hoilett. Clint should get another year.

Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

We are in a great position as we have 6 or 7 players already who can start in the first team plus a few who are all good squad players like hill, Dunne, faurlin, oniel, traore, hoilett maybe even Zamora. That's 14,15 players from last year in our squad.
We need to bring in 4 or 5 quality players to go into the first team and also maybe 2 or 3 squad players. That is realistic and not wholesale changes but essential purchases imo.

36 this year also. Leave him well alone and let him get on with his punditry career.

To be fair, if we play sh*t all year and stay up, I certainly won't be complaining.

It's probably Harry playing mind games. We know he always wants to spend as much as he can get away with. TF will say no to big wages and they will meet in the middle somewhere.
