  • Routledge

Not one for bringing old players back but I would love him back at QPR. Was fantastic the year we went up and been a big layer at Swansea and certainly adapted to the premier league. Hes quick, great delivery and pops up with the odd goal and wouldnt cost the ends of the world. Would be a great replacement for Hoilett imo.

Should never of let him go last time, bad mistake.

We have Phillips and Hoilett now so a new wide man shouldn't be our top priority.

Actually think Routledge is better than Hoilett so would love it if we were in for him again.

Good player. Questionable passion. Seems to lack any loyalty to any club he's been at. Can't see it.

Yeh, that's probably correct. Still think hoilett can do the job for us and should be given the chance.

People need to get over the loyalty thing.... only about 5% of players in the top flight have any true loyalty to their clubs. If a better deal comes in they will go..... Many would've thought the likes of Fabregas and Van Persie were loyal to Arsenal, but they moved to better things when the opportunity came.

I understand people saying give hoilett a chance but do we really want to rely on someone with such poor delivery and who often loses the ball in good attacking positions because he lack the ability to play the right ball.
Hoilett can run at people and from that we often get a corner, free kick and the odd penalty but we have lacked creatvity and the final ball this year and thats partly down to fact we lost phillips and our replacement wingers just haven't produced.
Hoilett in the team mean less chances for charlie and more pressure on our defence for when he loses possession.

some good points here but I think Hoilett is one of those players who could be better in the the higher league.

Sounds illogical but he was very dangerous at Blackburn and could be for us in the right system with the right service

not sure the he was motivated enough in the championship. Potentially shows a flaw in his character but he may come good back in the pl

that said, other positions are more of a priority first

I give hoilett a lot of grief and its because he's very frustrating. Defenders hate players like hoilett who have got unbelievable pace and center of gravity but imo if he doesnt start improving with his distribution and crossing what the point in having him in the team. We need our wingers whipping the balls into the box or picking the right passes. As far as im concerned if we supply charlie proprley he scores goals. He scored 20 goals of scraps last year. We must improve creatively.
I think another decent winger is a mist one who's comfortable both sides and will help up phillips and hoiletts game.

I agree, Hoilett has been a big disappointment for us, lack of creativity, poor delivery, not enough goals, losing possession in bad areas, etc, etc, etc

it's only a feeling but I just think he'll play better in the PL.

Don't want Routledge back, very often players go back to a club and are not as good.

Rumped an ex from years ago recently, just wasn't the same!!

Tommy Smith and Heider as well? How about dj campbell??
Forward movements only for me, dont like any players coming back, never seems to work out.

I would stick with Junior. His biggest weakness imo is when he receives the ball with his back to the opponents goal. He has been too weak and easy to knock off the ball, leading to pressure/overload on the full back. He will work on his strength and distribution & PL definitely suits him better than the rigours of "get it up ya" championship football.

bad comparisons mate, have any of them gone on to perform for a mid table club in the prem?

Good player, and would improve us but not on top of my list to sign. Scorer of one of the all time great QPR goals against Coventry.

If Routledge was available for the right money he would be needed. 2 for each position. He would join Traore, Phillips & Hoilett as one of our 4 wingers.
