I'm glad TF poured cold water on suggestions that we might sign the likes of Ferdinand Cole and Lumpalard. It's amazing that some fans are still wanting to sign over-age has-beens looking for a last lucrative payday. It doesn't matter how good these players may have been IN THEIR PRIME, we're not their pension pot.

Joey is right. We shouldn't be a club where good players come to die.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Plus they have won titles and won't be as hungry as younger players to win games with us.

But also because the club are gonna want to give Faurlin/Granero combination a few games in CM and Cesar a go in goal, Maybe Adel and a few other old faces to try to recoup some of the money the club spent recruiting them. Theres a few games in the EPL before the window closes to do that without burning any bridges. So even though there will be endless speculation I wont be surprised if it is all a bit low key early on and even into preseason.
6 weeks later and i still think the above is basically the case so i aint expecting any fireworks soon - loads are still on their hols anyhow

Sounds like they already have their targets and none of the already mooted players are amongst them. I sense a well laid out plan, hopefully.

Now seems to be accessible to those of us outside the U.K. And Great Britain.

And yes, it was a fantastic interview. We are so luck to have Tony as our owner.
