I believe Fernandes - but the only contradiction to me is Harry who says he only wants to bring in people who he knows. Thats what makes me think a lescott or rio still may turn up. I think though fernandes might of stamped a bit of authority yesterday and said he wants a younger player.

Harry will bring in players himself AND his scouts knows. But If more than one or two of them are "oldies" he will be in trouble..I think.

Lescott apparently couldn't agree terms with West Ham and now we are favourites (Daily Mirror)

Did F. clearly state that we don´t intend to bring in "big names a la Lecott" at all? The link dosn´t work..

that's what he said, but they need a centre-half and he fits the bill, unfortunately

                    Good interview.

Anyone notice the little giveaway remark?

                    It's a 40k stadium
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

So articulate and erudite. So proud that he is representing our club so well in his manner, demeanour, approachability and fantastic communication. Loved the bit where he said money can't buy you the experience he has had with QPR, and that he's in for the long haul. Want him to be at our club for decades!Love Fernandes!Think he will be an R for life if he can bring us into the new era.

As long as whoever comes in plays for the badge and they show the same commitment the squad did for the three playoff games im not too fussed.

The best thing about TF is that he has put his hands up re being bent over by agents - that was the thing that teed off his critics, those first six to nine months of business were a nightmare. Fair play though, he has learned from that experience and his heart is in it.

The one thing we really lack all over the park is pace, and it was encouraging to hear him distance himself from players whose best years are behind them. Let's hope Harry agrees.

TF won't come out and say we may be in for Lescott anyway, snap him up now on a 2 year contract as his wages would only be what we must pay SWP and Johnson together.
Lescott, Nedum, Simpson and Yun would be a decent backline to have.
We would still have Dunne and Hill, but maybe bring in 1 more defender(youngster).
