Indeed. Even cynical old me was hoping he would change his hymn sheet now, but no dice.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

I'm not happy by his comments, but he did take the club back up with some of the slowest defenders this league has ever seen. I feel we need to give him the chance and see where he can take us, just no big wages and long contracts unless their young.

Phil Beard is saying that a board meeting is planned with Harry for tomorrow. Any media transfer talk appearing before then is pure speculation.

Meanwhile Harry takes a different view to Fernandes, as expected:

"We won’t sign anybody I don’t want, no way, I’ll only sign players I know. I like to sign players I know. The ones I’ve brought here I knew – you know what you’re going to get. You can never be 100% sure about players but I’d rather take people I know who will come in and do a job for you.

We’re going to have to look around quickly and see where we can find the right type of players. You don’t want to be taking gambles.

Being in the Premier League and going to places like Anfield is what it’s all about. But you need a team to do it. You don’t want a team that’s going to get smashed up every week.”

It says we're using scouts but then Harry said he's only signing players he knows so why the need for scouts? Hmmmmmm

Harry needs to build a prem quality core. Youth will come in as subs. We need to stay up. Harry knows what he's doing. If you're talking about. Will be an exciting off season.

Exactly and the reason why I think we need him right now. I don't think we should jump in head first like we did last time. As long as he brings our wages back down to earth I'll be happy.

"I’ll only sign players I know. I like to sign players I know."

Kanu & Yakubu up front then?
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

To Harry it's all relative....Compared to him, Teddy Sherinhgam is young!

To be fair i think the reference to players he knows, would mean players they have done their homework on or scouted, or he's just aware of them rather then players he's necessarilly worked with. Tony mentioned in one interview or report that before if someone had played Champions league and wanted to come they just took them...!! That wont be happening again.

That said i am so concerned who of Harry's favourites will be put on the shopping list.... I can see it now. "Tony, Crouchy may well be sh1t3 and barely got in Stoke's team for the last 2 years, but he'll get us goals, you mark my words".....

Crouchy hit 10 goals last season whilst being in and out of the Stoke team. Wouldnt be the end of the world if he came, surely?!

Please no more Crouch, I'd rather Odemwingie and he has done very well.

Yes it would. He's way, way past his best, which was never that great in the first place, and he'd encourage a long ball game we dont want to endure. We need lively strikers with pace and movement, not a lumbering beanpole.

Wages would be quite high as well.

I think HR is emboldened by his success at the weekend and we might have to live with a few signings we are not happy with.
I am more likely to give him the benefit of the doubt than some others on here I suspect!!
