I think we're going to be lumbered with a few of Harry's favourites - very probably Lampard and Joe Cole (despite what Harry publically says) - possibly Michael Dawson and Scott Parker. Just hope that is supplemented by a core of up and coming playings.

Aside from Simpson, those who remain from the defence are woefully slow, the midfield is woefully slow - these are areas that mean we'll be run ragged in the PL.

Goalkeeper too - Green out of contract and no noises about a new one?

From the team that started on Saturday - it makes you approach next season very tentatively and probably why Harry has to go with what he knows in transfers....

      Green - Out of contract

      Simpson -
Dunne - activated another year on his deal but 35 and slow
      Onohua -
      Hill - out of contract

      Hoillet
      O'Neil - too slow
      Barton - slow-ish
      Krancjar - gone

      Doyle - gone
      Austin

subs - Murphy - out of contract
      Yun - ??
      Zamora - out of contract
      Traore
      Henry - too slow
      Hughes - gone
      Morrison - gone

Then the ones who didn't make that side

Jenas - injured out of contract
      Phillips - injured
      Carroll - gone
      BAE - gone
      Keane - gone
      Johnson - out of contract
      Faurlin - injured
Young - out of contract/never played
      Maiga - gone (thank God)

      To return

      Cesar
      Taarabt
      Remy
      Mbia (but out of contract?)

That's a massive, massive rebuilding job to be done inside 8 weeks with a World Cup in the way.

When Harry took over we had a dressing room of poison, he used his experiance to clear the muck out and build a dressing room ethic that would allow us to get promoted.

To do this he only purchased players he knew, this is what he used over the season to weed out the bad.

IMO I think what he is implying is he needs to the same, make sure the players he brings in add to the dressing ethic and adds quality.

If he knows them then there not a risk, if he dosnt and they turn out to be bad apples, and he has two or 3 of them then we could go back to square one.

So he wants to build a solid squad, with players he knows that "when he does decide to buy a players he dosnt know that well, if they are a bad apple the squad has enough experiance and quality to deal with it internaly and sort him out.

At the moment we will be light on this as some of the current squad will leave and potential open to such a thing. Lets build a squad, competitive with no thirlls that will allows us to compete and stay in the divison and look to add the unknows etc... to move us closer then to the top half.

Last time we tried to do it all in a day, and end up with a complete shambles and embrassment of ungrateful, over paid, over weight baffons.

We should be supporting this approach becuase we will be the first to moan and scream if we start to see the same errors.
One for all.... and all for one
