Only asking because there was lots of concerns around how the Club prioritised ticket sales and never put them on FULL General Sale (ie. needed to be on QPR database to buy even the last of our allocation).

    Perhaps the system worked ?
Certainly it stopped Derby fans, who'd sold out their allocation a few days before us, from buying seats in our sections. That's a good thing.
I tried and failed...proper gutted but at least I could get hammered whilst watching it on tv.

I missed the Hillsborough game because of the very same thing 10 years ago. Don't regret it. regret not being there, but not as much as I'd regret having not gone to my final evening at Nottingham (to be fair it was more of a celebration of never going to be out in Nottingham ever again but that's neither here nor there.)

WSR's choice had no baring on the game's result. In fact, if you think about it, the ticket he didn't buy allowed a fellow R to attend and have some great memories of that day.

Simply because "I was there" doesn't make you "more" rangers. a fan is not based on how many matches they've been to. a 12 kid could be more fanatic than me, knowing all the latest transfer targets, all the stats, all the records etc - nothing to do with what games you've been to or not.

WSR - hope you had a good night.
a choice he made(not lightly by the sounds of it) and one i hope he's happy with. he's been a member of this board for a long time and considering a huge part of our fanbase last saturday ain't been rangers for years i think its a bit rough to be getting on to him.

I'm sure, well at least I hope, WSR knows we're only teasing him and not having a pop.

Bet we've got the better photos and videos though.

I hope that WSR ended up in a cocaine, frenzy orgy with loads of blondes and brunettes having a munch on him while he lay back with arms behind his head singing 'oh Bobby Zamora'

Haha that's exactly what happened to me after the game, but when I woke up, the only part that was true was we'd won at wembley

Blimey, I'd be not only kicking myself, but also getting others to give me a good kicking, as well.
Could well develope into becoming one of the biggest regrets of your life, missing out on seeing the Rangers win a final at Wembley.

"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

I got tkts for a lot of people on here and the positive for me was meeting some really decent people when I handed over the tkts to them, good to meet Mem,Nick,Jeff & Mason.

                              Lol. Leave the lad alone.

Getting a degree is not the piece of pi$$ that it once was.... and you defo do not get the financial freebies that you once got despite popular opinion.

WSR was probably walking around in his best whistle feeling a million dollars...... Rangers promoted.... seeing good friends for the last time in a while..... etc.

Sorry to hear that SG, but other than 1 who chose not to attend and another who couldn't afford it, you seem to be the only poster across 3 message boards, who tried & failed. I suggest you be promoted to the front of the queue next time around.....
