  • For Harry haters, it's personal

A very interesting read, it's hard not to agree with the majority of points raised IMHO

Don't hate him as don't even know the man, but I do not rate him as highly as others do.

    Also who was/is on 100k a week?

Amazingly, a very good article from a journalist that most of us can't stand. It is factual and informative and highlights what Harry has achieved in the wake of what he inherited.
The one thing the article fails to do however, is point out that all the undoing had to be done because of the wayne ker that is Mark Hughes

Don't know about that as surely Diakite is the man he is talking about with mental issues, and says he is on 100k a week.

The article makes good points. However, it ignores the real reasons a lot of people don't like HR. In general, it is because he is a slippery character who has not displayed integrity over the years. At QPR specifically, while it is true that last season must be called a success and that HR deserves a ton of credit for it, we played the most stupefyingly boring football I have ever seen from a QPR side - there is no reason for us to do that and it CANNOT continue!

HR has done some good things for the club ie getting rid of some of the high earners with bad attitudes. On the down side, IMHO, at times his tactics have been pretty poor. Also he was going to take Hoillett off and leave Hill on until Clint stepped in. I know he was playing for pens but you still need an out ball especially when you are a man down. You need a bit of pace or you'll just defend deeper & deeper. This season we seem to go a goal up & then sit back on a 1 goal lead & don't start attacking again until the oppo have equalised.

That´s why a good few QPR supporters quite often critize him. Myself included.
                Poor article,IMO.

Holy s**t .....someone actually putting our side of the story, and giving Harry some credit. All i've heard is "it was robbery"..."football was the loser"...No derby were the losers we won
a game 1-0, and 'Arry masterminded it.....schteve this schteve that ...'Arry out done him.
We as a club get no credit these days,.... fine...jealous b*stards....but Harry does deserve applause.

Clint sacrificed himself for the Wigan game but not at Wembley - it was Harry's decision to take Hill off, after lengthy deliberations with Jordan and Bond.

This is all discussed in the latest QPR podcast with Onuoha, Fernandes and Ian Taylor on as guests.

Ok fair do's, not quite how I heard it. Still think HR's tactics have been too defensive when we have been in the lead & allowed teams back into games when IMHO they were there for the taking.

....it obviously bore fruit this boring football.....would take boring football all day long to achieve the necessary results. Expansive, positive tactics may be pleasing on the eye, but does not necessarily achieve the desired effect. If it does that's a bonus.

Redknapp done the best with what he had.

If Austin didn't get injured we would have gone up automatically.

So not a bad season on reflection.

Couldn't agree more fishy.....the situation without Charlie dictated the style of play up to a point.
