Wish Burnley hadn't gone up and we could snatch Kieran Trippier, the guy is class!
"Imagine a relationship that went wrong but you held on in there for years: that's what it is like supporting a football team. Your loyalty to a team can never die. Ties are stronger than they could ever be with a woman. If she goes and sleeps with your best mate, it's over. If the Rs' boss, Ian Holloway, slept with my best mate, QPR would still be my team. Even if many of the things that you loved about going to matches have gone - terraces, team shirts without sponsors and being able to smoke at grounds - you still stick with your team." - Peter Doherty.

Agree with Shania,Simpson appeared to be targeted by Wigan in first leg and he looked shaky..where was he for their goal in second leg ?
Gets into good positions going forward but never seems to get a cross in and prefers to take an easier option of passing it backwards..would prefer Harriman as reserve F/B and we let him go.

D!ck head or not he will score us our goals that will hopefully keep us up or push us on further.

We will see what happens anyway mate, it is going to be a interesting summer.
I know mate, cant wait to see who Harry actually has lined up. I think the board want to go with youth and best picks from championship but not completely sure if harry wants that route so definitely will be interesting.

I can see 4 / 5 very experienced players with a mix of some younger, raw talent, with an eye for the future

          some players need time

I remember seeing Nedum when he first came, he was very shaky and nervous but has blossomed into a consistent defender and is still improving.

For me, he's a future Rangers captain!

have mentioned this a few times over the season about simpson. Cannot fault his effort and desire but is sometimes found wanting. he has been at fault for some crucial goals (wigan 2nd leg) and hope its just down to settling in as its his 1st season with us that has been disrupted due to injury. Dont forget it was newcastle's decision not to renew his contract and not his, so they felt he wasnt up to it.

Yep, they must have fouled him 3 or 4 times and still couldnt get the better of him or us in that leg.
