  • Frank Lampard

Out of all the oldies he would be the one that would make the best footballing sense.

We need a goal scoring midfielder and yes I know Morrison is a player many are keen on but he is raw and a gamble.
Lampard has notched 20 goals a season with ease and after this season we have clearly lacked players in the 18 yard box that can finish minus Austin.

Big question is, we all hate Terry with a passion and wouldn't even want him walking down uxbridge rd let alone Loftus but would you accept Lampard into the Rangers family?
Taken plenty of stick and rightly so but surely he wouldn't be the worst signing in the world and I don't hate him at the level of cole and Terry.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Mate for footballing abilities alone id have all day long. As you pointed out we have struggled for goals and he would certainly bring 10 + I reckon at least. Plus you couldn't question his attitude to the game and professionalism.
Still think chelsea will give him 1 more year though.

      No brainer.

Would do the same role as McLintock and Wilkins did in years gone by.

At least we'd score every penalty

He's retiring from Intl. Football too
I should probably write something insightful here

Can't argue with this post, makes sense for several reasons. Our hatred of Chelsea shouldn't cloud minds

The only way he'd consider us would be if Uncle 'Arry worked some family magic on him. Would be very good signing but would he really sign on for a relegation scrap where he could probably play for a better team here or abroad?

No thanks, we need young legs in midfield.

Redknapp rules out move for Lampard

Not for me I am afraid he is defo washed up as will be shown in the World Cup. He don't get in the box like he used too and last two seasons has struggled to get a game. One player whose better days are well and truly behind him

Of the oldies the only one I would take is Ashley Cole as think he's still one of the best left backs in world even at his age
