My view too. Gator and I went into the club shop on Friday and I came out empty handed. That never happened until those two t0ss pots changed our badge. Was gutted at not feeling able to buy a shirt from the season we won the league but am way over it now. Don't care in the least that I don't have this season's shirt.

The thing that people don't seem to understand it that this issue isn't about majority/minority - the minority who hate the badge is a significant minority and we hate it so much that we are not buying merchandise. That kind of reaction is unprecedented and is costing the club a lot of money. If we got a new badge probably most of us would start buying stuff again even if we didn't like it - because it really isn't about aesthetics, it is about the association with those two t0ss pots.

But then there might be a significant minority who don't like that badge...and so it would go on

Understandable, but what if any new badge is vehemently disliked by a significant minority, who won't buy merchandise?

My main point is that people are not buying merchandise because of the association of the badge with our previous owners, NOT because it looks like sh1t. If we change it, that problem goes away. It takes one hell of a problem for people to refuse to buy merchandise of their favourite team - the fact they don't like the look of the badge is nowhere near enough.

I agree with others that if the flowery bits on the sides were taken off it would be quite a nice looking badge, with our name clearly written. Though I suppose the regal flowery bits are related to our history having been on a previous bade we had I spose.

I like the crown bit. Is it just due to the name of Queens and the park after the Victorian Queen naming that area of Queens Park?

I can see us using it a lot, like Arsenal using the Canon and Spurs the Cockeral as it's hard to market letters than an image.
Always associate a crown in a badge with Real Madrid, so some nice links there Along with the Granero one

I believe the badge is immaterial.
All I care about is that there is a QPR to support!
Whatever design is selected for the badge or the kit, there will be a minority which dislike it.

See no reason to change the badge again at this stage. They change every now and again through history and create the Retro feel, so to alter it again so soon would be a bit silly and its not that bad.

Well its clearly keeping you awake at night but personally I really don't care. The old one looks dated next to it now and whilst its the badge I grew up with, it reminds me of losing cup finals, relegation and the like. The new badge got us promoted, twice including a day at Wembley I will never ever forget.

Still if you want pine for the Letraset badge I can't stop you...

I can think of many other important things to spend money on and I'd rather the club gave any money they were to spend on replacing the badge to the Tiger Cubs or some other local good cause....

You might as well support a club because you like the colour of the kit if it means that much to you then.

I know we had a poll recently bout the badge - but now Saturday is iconic for every single fan - where do we stand on the badge?

Personally I've been a fan of it since the start but understand others' opinions

My thought however is now that there is a memory of 40k of us with those flags waving in glory pre and post match - with the badge on there. The badge was displayed in huge format inside and outside of Wembley. it's now recognised as the winning badge of the most lucrative game in sport.

Are we now set to keep it? Are people who used to hate it now going to picture it/link it to the glory of May 24th? is it now more accepted now that we have some positives in it?

I liked the old badge... the new badge is alright....however, would I attach special significance to it just because we happened to be wearing it on the day we came 3rd in the championship?.............

For someone who doesn't care about the badge you put a lot of thought into your opening paragraph..... anyway I agree that the money could be spent on other things but still think it would be nice to have an opinion if we were to get another badge just in case they come up with some sort of pink floral design with maybe angels and fairies in it or maybe have a circular design with 'queen park rangers' around the outside and a lion in the middle with a blue background (a bit like chelskis), but hey its only a badge who cares.

I don't know why people are getting worked up about a badge, I'd like people to prioritise what they would like for the good of the club not what is good for themselves!
The badge has changed over the years, things move on. So, if the club had a fans vote and the design you voted for didn't get selected, would you still be moaning??
