But I ask him, have your mates been to wembley? No

And now, have your mates seen their team win at wembley? No
My boy has done all of the above and he's only 7. His loyalty has already been rewarded massively. And he is genuinely QPR mad and the feeling of pride I get from it beats anything in the world hand on heart
Blinding stuff oompah. Can relate, I was only 1 of 2 Rangers all through school and remember have playground rows many a time with the Chelsea kids (all to$$Ers that had never, and probably haven't since, been to Stamford Bridge for anything other than a birthday tour). Never had the Wembley argument that your lad has so good on him! Used to be well proud to be a Ranger going every Saturday though, even as a nipper. Me old man made sure of that.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

It's weird how you stick with your team. My dad's a gooner, 3 brothers all gooners, live on North london borders so gooners everywhere, yet I've always been rangers from day dot. Wouldn't even let my dad put me in an arsenal kit, Xmas time I would be in my new qpr full kit and my bros their arsenal ones! My mum is qpr (loosely) my nan is a proper rangers girl used to watch em from her house etc but it's my nans brother (great uncle) who took me my first game and for good few years, then my actual uncle after him. I used to take great pride in the fact I stood by my team even when relegated from prem etc and endless abuse from my bros etc but one thing I had on my older brother was he changed from spurs to arsenal several times copying our older cousin and I wasted no time in telling him this and we'd often scrap over it.
Sorry for the life story and hijacking the thread but I love hearing the tales of how we are QPR and why. My youngest is 2 and hopefully he's next to get the bug. Already got him singing "wemberlee" etc
I love our special little club

The seat in front didnt take too kindly to me jumping up and down on it, and buckled under the pressure sending me into the geezer infront of that!

Was gonna take it home as a souvenir, but I'm sure it was made of lead. The thing weighed an absolute tonne!

Decided against it in the end

Trip to A&E on Sunday to mend a broken finger from battering the seat in front.

            And a splint. That count?
Meet me by the railway tracks

I punched my mate in the face as I went in for the biggest man hug in history when we scored. Didnt even realise until he told me.
