No one is doubting Cesar's ability. We are more f*cked off with the fact that he was happy to sit on the bench and take the thousands a week. Green has earned the right to be our number one keeper. You cannot deny that.

I can make the same video about Green's best saves.

I would have Cesar over green all day, everyday. Just my opinion of course.

I think we'd be better off having Green for 1 more season TBH, at least he's english rather than having Cesar who didn't care for the club.

Green had a very, very good game and has had many for us.

But Cesar has had some outstanding games for us too. Not sure why when a fan prefers Green it means they feel the need to abuse Cesar.

It is hardly their fault our blindingly stupid management went out and got two Grade A keepers when we only needed one and a normal backup.

My honest opinion is that Cesar is actually the better keeper. But I would take EITHER. TBH it is our strongest position at the club....it's EVERWHERE else we need to fix.

I saw some breathtaking saves from Cesar but also saw a hell of a lot of flapping, poor positioning, inconsistent distribution, not commanding his area and some errors. I won't claim to be an expert on his career but can only conclude he was much better prior to his accident. For me too unpredictable and his style more likely to put us in trouble. Have no problem with him as an individual and some of his saves will be long remembered but don't want him back.

Green makes the odd mistake but overall solid keeper and worries me less.

ceasar is a out standing keeper imo but just shows what a mess we made in the transfer market when we brought him in. 2 keepers on 50 and 80 k a week brought in in the space of a few weeks ****** joke. Mark Hughes is a c***.

We want to go up next year keeping a core of the team who played in the championship this year. Green has to be part of that, was outstanding for us this year and massive influence around the club. It is key he's our number 1. " year deal on renegotiated terms. £30 -40 k a week.

Harry will want him as his number and am certain he will be.

I think it's a bit strange that his contract's been allowed to run down, not the normal way of doing things if you want to keep a player.

                          Definitely 100% green for me!!

After all the $hit Hughes put him through and he still stayed, didn't kick up a fuss, didn't sulk, he stayed very professional and fought for his place AND he's kept us in a lot of game's!!

I'm not denying Cesars ability but I just think Green's earned his place and got a lot more heart for this club and will do anything to get into the team.

Cesar is by the far the better keeper but forgetting that green is on 50k and Cesar even more. One has two years left on his contract and the others has ended, just on the financial side it makes no sense to keep green. There are far better keepers out there who would want less than half that money, fabinski at Arsenal, the reading keeper etc. No sentiment in football or business.

Yes he stopped them, but I agree Derbys finishing was awful Saturday. Against top class prem strikers you will not get them easy saves. You never know when Green will make a massive mistake, but you know it is coming. His footwork is also no where near quick enough to be a top keeper.

I don't want to slate the guy as he has been brilliant for most of the season in the CHAMPIONSHIP, but as Ricky says above no room for sentiment in the premiership.
