  • So which past players did you see at Wembley??

I saw Kevin and Joe Gallen walking up Wembley Way before the game.

In the ground found myself right next to Chris Day as well as Martin Rowlands, Lee Cook, Gavin Mahon and Rufus Brevett. All went absolutely ballistic when we scored! Chris Day is a big old bloke and he jumped on me when we scored! Such a nice bloke. Loves us.

Also saw Angelo Balanta, Max Ehmer and Paul Bruce in front of us.

Ended up going back to Wembley yesterday having been given tickets through work and saw Andy Impey in the Club Wembley bit.......gave him a You Rsssssss!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Good thread. Saw loads of former players congratulate us on twitter and radio but notice no words of support from players still contracted to club but out on loan ie Adel mbia Remy only hope they have had the decency to do it in private

M'Bia is out of contract with us. Would have been nice to hear something from Adel. Remy was only with us for a few months.

Adel has seen The highs and lows with the club and still mates with Traore so personally would have hoped he attended game or put out something in congratulations after all he is not shy going to the papers to complain or say who is trying to sign him

Chris Day made his own way without club. Had a chat in the Torch about coaching goalies and broken bones. A real nice approachable guy.
