  • Next manager

Just got a feeling that Harry is gonna walk...if this does happen the next manager decision is going to be massive for Tony and I don't think he can afford to get it wrong this time.
Lots of calls on here for a young, ambitious manager, but that would be a huge risk -
even the likes of Malkay is pretty unproven at keeping a club up at Prem level. We really need a Pulis like steadying of the ship, so with that in mind (and I don't like the guy) Moyes is the best bet around.

Hes already said hes definitely staying mate. We dont need another manager the blokes worked miracles getting us up.

what with the operation and his lack of enthusiasm for the championship, I think had we not have gone up he'd have definitely gone. Now though, he is back where he not only wants to be but feels he should be. He's going nowhere.

he wants one more crack in PL and next season will be his last and then he retires. And hopefully we are safe somewhere midtable. But hopefully board will keep their eyes open for the future, because HR is 67 and won't stick around forever. Would love to Hill and Joey being part of coaching stuff once new manager has come, but one more season with HR and hopefully a good one

Me too. Would be very sad of course but at least the timing is good.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,

Harry to stay. Bring in an attacking coach though.

Surprised by people believing what Harry tells the press. His enthusiasm and body language all season (including after the game on Saturday!) suggests to me that he's a bit tired of it all, semi-retirement as Director of football at Bournemouth beckons I reckon.
I think he's done a fantastic job this year shaping the squad, but the football's been poor and we were pretty lucky in the end. Just don't think he'll have the appetite to rebuild again or the wherewithal for the fight ahead.

I would bring Paul Clement with a view of him taking over in a years time.
                    Kept the faith!

Are you for real mate? You think Harrys put up with a year in the championship to walk away now? Why would he lie about staying hes 67 we'd all understand if he wanted to leave at the age he is and if it was another year in the championship i think hed be gone but he cant wait to get back to the premiership.

Like i said, just a feeling. Think he's looking tired and will come to the conclusion in the next few weeks that it's better for him to leave now than in the middle of a relegation scrap. We'll see I guess.

When we officially reached the play offs I said two things.

                          1) We would win

                          and

                          2) Would therefore need a massive clear out from the top, starting with H. We are so short of pace it is genuinely funny to watch (and made the 90th minute even more of a blast) and Harry's reliance on an ageing squad will not work in the prem.

Paul Clement could work with the old geezer for a while and then take over? Dunno, but we have to face up to facts.

It would give him a season to bed in.
