Redknapp says Remy has a reasonable buyout clause which isn't much more than we paid for him.

Plus, Harry says "I wouldn’t know what he’ll do, but I think he’s got a buy-out clause which is at a reasonable level."
I wouldn't be surprised if Harry really didn't know.......

I am not a great fan of Remy, but realize his potential to score goals. However I think he comes with a lot of baggage and any team is unlikely to have him play for them for the whole season. Obviously Newcastle discovered this as can be seen in the article below, especially the last paragraph.

Wasn't the clause only last summer anyway, and expired once he went out on loan, ie, he was still a registered QPR player once the clause period elapsed?
If that's the case let him have a decent World Cup and let the auctions begin, assuming he cant be persuaded to stay of course..... The thought of him and Austin together.... now that would be tasty.
Also I don't hold any grudges against Remy, he played great for us and it wasn't due to him we went down. Add to that he had a very justified reason to want to play top flight football, namely trying to get in the France WC squad.

However, as gets said time and time again, no-one appears to know one way or the other.
