Always been a fan of Hoilett as when he gets the ball and runs at players it can cause problems. Even Saturday we looked most dangerous when Hoilett ran at defenders. He has had a poor season really but still is our 3rd top goal scorer and comes out on top of the assist charts which in a promotion season is not too bad.

Clearly a confidence player. Unbelievable that someone on here is finding fault with his cross for the goal and is critical for him not picking out directly a QPR player. Class A plum.

ill admit im being harsh on the cross - think its just out of frustration of his general performance all year. So fair play im probably being a plum over that incident hands up.

But id still argue whats the point in having a winger who yes can run at players but then 9/10 never delivers a decent ball doesnt lift his head a pass the ball when others are in good positions or is constantly getting dispossed leaving us being countered.
Hes been poor for two years his stats back that up. Plus watching recently ive noticed players havent been passing to him when hes open that speaks volumes, they know he doesnt release the ball and loses it and its very clear to see.

But as I said Im being harsh on the cross ive watched it a few times back now and yes he done all he can for that ball and I need to be fair and say well done for that.

Agree that he hasnt played to his potential since he signed but the majority of the squad havent. It has been a chaotic time at Qpr since he signed and maybe he has found it hard to settle. Think there are other prime candidates who deserve our criticism alot more than hoilett, especially after his playoff performances!
