  • Did Bobby Zamora 24/05/2014 Save QPR

    All,

Well done to everyone for yesterday and wished I could have been there myself. Saw defeats in 82, 86 at Wembley and of course not so long ago, Cardiff, so pehaps a good thing I wasn't there!
Disappointing seeing some empty seats when I only wanted one of them. Anyway won't digress so moving on.

I know our illustrious and popular owners say QPR are in safe hands. etc, but I really do believe Booby Z's goal has played a massive part in the security and future of QPR for many years to come. It is well publicised how valuable winning was yesterday financially to either club. We are guaranteed a good income for a few years to come and plenty of time for the board to turn the nightmare of the past few seasons in financial terms to hopefully an acceptable level if not parity. They will work hard and they have got the best possible starting point.

As for season 2014/15 I look forward to seeing good young exciting players with promise thrown in with the mix of experience.
Guys such as Charlie, and hopefully Matty Phillips, will be a breath of fresh air. Now if Spuds can offer us Andros Townsend again I will be happy.

    Hearty congrats again, U R'ssssssss

    They all saved us.

They say Derby out played us. Yes, they had the possession and stats but we actually outplayed them as they could not score. We defended like a unit and did a smash and grab at the end. You could not write a better script.

With a transfer embargo if the club remained in the Championship, it might have been years before the club was good enough for promotion again. He really did save the club.

            This.

TF is an accountant and there is no way he is just going to meekly hand over millions without a fight. The rules create more unfairness in my opinion and just widen the gap between the already successful clubs and those trying to compete with them.
