Bobby deserves a new contract, that goal has paid his wages and transfer fee. Hope he looks down the leagues and buys some hungry young players. Unfortunately can see the likes of Lampard and Ferdinand be mooted

Actually I wouldn't mind Lampard and Joe Cole both on 1 year deals just to steady the ship for a season, both freebies as well.

We don't know what impact the FFPR are going to have on us yet so lets not be too ambitous this time and assemble a survival squad.

Park contract runs out at the end of next season. He decided to retire though because of his chronic knee injury which in the end got so bad that he was barely able to walk after each game.

this really... if he stays, zamora would need to accept a hefty pay cut - he's getting first pick striker wages at the moment, this needs to become occasional sub money.

we really need a left back - hill should alternate with dunne in central defence, traore isn't so great defensively and yun is still developing.

i reckon granero will come back to us and this could develop a decent partnership with barton (assuming he sticks around)

Seems harsh after promotion to not want so many players back but of we look at most of them sensibly and not emotionally, most of them have been injured for long periods of time or havent wanted to stay and fight for the club. We cant afford to carry the like jonson, jenas, young ect (Zuloup I cant believe you put to keep young???was that a mistake??).

Zamora deserves it for the 80 million goal and faurlin still is for me our best midfielder when fit. Kranjcar can perform in the prem and o'neil will do what the team needs him to do. If yossi is willing to take low wages, we should keep him just because of his work ethic and experience

I don't think Zamora deserves it really. It was a important goal no doubt, but I don't think any single goal earns him a new contract. Most of the time he's been here he's been cr*p. Faurlin too injury-prone, maybe give O'Neil another year though.

I wouldn't call him injury prone. I mean, it has only been 2 injuries to be fair.
