The Carling Cup

Why arent many fans/ players/ teams/ managers etc bothered about winning it? For the ''smaller'' clubs this is a golden opportunity to head to Wembley and win silverware.

I understand that the F.A Cup is far more significant, but surely you want your team to win any type of silverware to add to the trophy cabinet wether it is beating Chelsea or any other team in the progress?

Ive never really understood it to be honest.
