lots of people cheat and bend the rules in all sports. can you honestly say you never have?

if simpson takes a dive in the last minute tomorrow night and wins us a pen that rowlands smashes home to put us through, will you be on here demanding simpson gets banned for life, thrown out of football and forbidden from taking part in anything sports related ever again?

      totally.

you telling me this type of thing doesnt happen every day in every sport?

please explain why this is such a big deal.

FIA hated Briatore, they are kicking him where it hurts.

simpson dives, he cheats, outcome of the game has been altered. same thing. chelsea lose revenue from futures ties, we gain.

No, the equivilant would be that someone did not slow down under a yellow, which results in the driver getting in front of the person in front and getting more points.

Well, considering its taken football league at 2 months to investigate Notts County, don't think it will be anytime soon

Plus, appeals process etc etc to the FIA

Interesting that the "cheat", Nelson Piquet, the only person so far who has admitted to the supposed crime, gets away without sanctions. F1 is still the same circus it has always been.

He said when he resigned he will not appeal any decision made against him.

he got immunity for speaking out about it. Otherwise he wouldnt as his F1 career will be over. (Even though it will be as he is cack)

Good point. Could this mean no transfer funds for us in January if things aren't sorted out by then?

Briatore expected this when he resigned.

It's why the jungle drums have been beating from LR for the past 48 hours.

Ask Luton, Southampton, Rotherham, Bournemouth etc...
                            If there's a rule - he'll use it.

Briatore will not want to be removed from sport completely. He will
                              not go without a fight.

More chance of Ecclestone cutting all ties with QPR to get away from public involvement with Briatore IMO.

Brightonr - regarding "the only person admitted......", robbo posted this earlier

"Why did FB resign?? Because he was cast aside and fed to the lions (The FIA) on a plate by Renault - that's why. Anyone who thought otherwise was living in La-La Land"
