  • 2003 final v now - the difference!

We are at "home" this time! Derby are on "our patch"

The reaction of the players (& fans) after winning the semi final - there was an air of "the job ain't finished"

The experience and quality in the squad - we have premiership players in abundance

Over 4200 appearances in the prem by our players v only 170 for Der bee

The bench, omg the bench it will look something like this Yun (in the S Korea world cup squad) played at Wembley, Bobby ( been there done that, played for England and vastly experienced) Morrison (under21 international) has played at Wembley & wow what a player, Hughes (current international, BAE ( experienced , played in lots of big gams, (international player for Cameroon) Henry (great experience) Murphy ( fine keeper, international hopefully won't be needed)

40,000 fans. We "only" had 34,000 ish in Cardifff!

A real belief going into this game. Didn't have that in 03

Mrs Oldhoop coming to this game. Guess what? the only game we have lost when she's been was to Cardiff (at home in he league)

I'm sure you can think of some more differences and reasons why we will win!?

Experience puts us in good stead but hunger is what will win us the game. we've got to want it more than derby. all we need is one of around 5 players to play a blinder and we can win this. Hoilett, Morrison, Austin, Barton or Kranjcar can all win us the game single handedly, its just about them turning up and playing as a team.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
    Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

The biggest difference from 2003 is £££££££££. About 130 million of them. It was ONLY £90 million when we won the 2009 play-off final.

Too close to call for me - whoever scores first.
