I could see Bobby getting an EPL contract either at the club or elsewhere. Same goes for the rest of the first team - unlike last year there are good players at the club with good attitudes and many on reasonable wages who have come together and worked hard and built a band of brothers - on their cvs it will say team players winners and leaders and that harry loves them and if you listen to the way maclaren raves about the squad too and hes been gone for 6 months. all of that kind of stuff makes them gold dust which wont go unnoticed among epl managers and scouts. yet another good reason to win on saturday, dont want to see the team to be scattered to the wind and other club gaining all the benefit.

Good interview here, and as usual he gets misquoted and people get the wrong idea:

Reports not long after he joined QPR from Fulham in 2012 suggested Zamora had fallen out of love with the game. There were lingering questions about his appetite and some pundits even urged him to retire.

“I was misquoted,” clarifies Zamora, dampening any ideas he might call time on his career soon. “I was asked what I do when I get home and I said I do not tend to watch much football. Football is everywhere so when I go home, I want to switch off.

“I like to spend time with my kids and take the dogs for a walk. From that, it was reported that I do not like football. Then other people picked up on it and people were saying I hated football! Everyone who reads stuff like that believes it. But that is not the case. If it was the case, I would have packed it in by now. Getting paid to play football is the best job in the world.”

Not my money but wouldn't retain him on anything over 5k. Anything more than that would be ridiculous at his age and physical condition.

I would have no issue with the Zamora of the last 3 months staying at the club ! When fit he is a threat, unfortunately he has been unfit for the majority of his time here.

if Owen and Crouch had contracts to finish their careers in PL then think Bob can too. He's been working solid for 3 or 4 months now.

Has been asked to play through injuries & postpone operations. If he would accept a pay as you play contract would be a decent enough squad player.

One year contract on a pay cut then maybe but I'm still not his biggest fan. Just love his impact against Wigan
                      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

If he scores the winner on Saturday - Yes
                        Otherwise - No

When was the last time he played 90mins? Too expensive for an impact sub surely

Is it just a coincidence that we are seeing the best of Zamora now he is on the look out for a new contract?
