  • Squeaky bum time for Flavio today

    And indeed for us.

In a few hours we'll know if he is facing a ban from owning us. If he gets a lifetime ban from F1 it will have serious ramifications for us. I still think Renault will get the suspended sentence, considering how many people he has angered I reckon he's got a strong chance of personally getting banned

I am sure we all wish him to get the ruling that he deserves.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Considering what he done and the team have accepted he done, he should get a lifetime ban, but I bet he wont.

As I understand it the rules of the FIA have no powers to sanction Flavio in anyway as he has resigned.

The FIA are now putting together a new set of rules that will allow them to take action in future cases but the new rule will not be retrospective.

Flavio will still be able to continue at QPR for as long as he likes - he is still very much in the driving seat.

          Agree, business as usual.

Flavio may take a back seat for a while, but he will be very much involved.

Separate note, fans wanting us to be like Notts County,

See that the football League have not yet mean tested the Notts County board, that could get very interesting

i dont really care about notts county and football is full of dodgy characters at every level.

FIA can presumably still ban Flab from any future involvement in F1. Then i suppose its just up to the FA whether they inforce the fit and proper rules. i dont think they will do because ultimately, they dont want the bad press and it could open a can of worms.

An everyday football fan can get a 3 year banning order imposed on him by a court for drinking a beer in view of the pitch but nothing happens to someone guilty of getting a driver to crash at car at 100mph and influence the outcome of a race ?

That's the screwed up world we live in I suppose.

I hope Flavio gets an easy ride, I think it's all a bit of a fuss about nothing.

No worse in my opinion than blood gate in the rugby

                  Indeed.

Eddie Irvine said that this has been happening for years and could name many world champions who were party to these actions.

Won't find out till the 25th september what the punishment for the crashgate is going to be.

                    From bbc sport:
The FIA's decision will be reached in the same week that Formula 1 returns to Singapore for this season's race, with first practice due to begin at 1100 BST on Friday, 25 September.

SSN are saying that the decision of the enquiry will be announced today.

Yes others have cheated at F1... but they didn't get caught, and are not sweating in a Paris courtroom as we speak.

sort of agree in away...but there is a bit of difference in biting a blood capsule than putting a car into a wall

I rest my case on Schumacher, there is no way on earth he would have won as many tittles as he did. Him and Ferrari were the cheaters of F1, like Man Utd are in English football.

If Flavio gets a ban or what ever, then everything Schumacher and Ferrari have done should come out as well. For those who don't watch the sport, there must be pages and pages of the stuff, I mean we could create a new book on that alone.

I can't see anyone saying anything about those race fixings but the people who got done by it like 'Eddie Irvine' and other drivers.

In this sport you just have to bite your lip and get on with it, some can't except the fact they are not that good to race.

Most of M Schumacher moments were all caught on TV and everyone can see them, it's a FACT that they only pick out the ones they want.
