            That is great to hear, mainly for the fact he can get a full pre season under his belt in the summer and hit the ground running in the new season.

              Had Faurlin stayed fit this season we may have done better. Faurlin's strengths are his ability to break up play and tackling. However, many like to think its his passing and skill something I don't agree with.

              With Faurlin sat in front of the back 4 and Barton pushed on we would have eliminated the need for Carroll and been more direct instead of moving the ball sideways all the time. Barton pushed on would have scored more goals and assisted more goals , that I'm sure off.

                  Don't rate him above Championship level and stand by that. Fans get sentimental with players, I tend to say what I see.
