TOtally agree. How many people know people that are going that dont normally go? I know people. Obviously we probably all know people that arent going, but there are definitely going to be day trippers there. They are probably QPR fans, but go to less than 1 game a season - so cant be relied on for filling a stadium week in week out.

You HAVE to build a 35k stadium IMO, with room to increase further... remember this stadium is being built for the future not the here and now.

chicken and the egg in my opinion. it's a dilema that's can't be answered until hindsight.

"being built for the future" doesn't guarantee that the future will be all glorious. you can't expect a 35k stadium to bring success simply because of the size of the new facilities. i think we need to be more consentrated either on our transfer policy or the new warren farm or harlington training facilities/youth set up. This is year our future lies, not in the bricks of a new 20k,30k,40k etc stadium.

Im not expecting the stadium to bring success cos its big.. I didn't say that..

It needs to be 35k minimum for the future.. the investment that will continue to be made, the youth set up improving.. its about laying foundations for the future.
At the present time 35k may not be filled, even in the prem but its about laying those foundations so that when we do get top 8 in the prem, we can easily handle it

Lets also not forget, this stadium wont be built until another 7 years or so I reckon.. anything could happen in this time.. ANYTHING. We could be playing Europa league footy in 2 seasons.. anything can happen

Not right now we wont, I think everyone would agree with that.. But in the Prem, if were top 8 or 6 with investment then yes I would say so

They wouldn't / couldn't be there week in week out so selling our play off final allocation really isn't a true reflection on what our home ground should hold. IMHO of course
That's a pretty realistic assessment of our support, I would say our 'natural' level of hardcore support is about 23-25k

I think people forget that football at the new stadium is only a small part of overall business plan,we do not need 40,000 seats, but handy to have for concerts etc.

Nobody can guarantee we will be in the Premier League and certainty not a consistent top 8 team

So the reality is could be Brentford at home in front of 16k which is fine at Loftus Road but in a 40k it will be awful

                                Build it at 25-28k

No point being something we ain't
