I agree this segregation did nothing to impove the atmosphere. Even if prices were different in each section of the ground, this gold/silver.bronze sections has caused a kind of class thing, which divides the fans.

I wish Loftus Road would go back to the 'fortress' it once was, but its going to take a lot of doing. I agree with your post Pete, its spot on.

Perhaps a mass advertisement on all forums saying that for one game and one game only any vocal support, willing to try and get the atmosphere going again, sits in the loft, and the blocks next to it in SAR and Ellerslie. If we do generate a good atmosphere then maybe it could be the start of bringing the atmosphere back? i know it will take more than one game, but its just an idea.

The Lower Loft is a bit of a morgue, but you just get filthy looks from most if you try to start singing. It is practically frowned upon

ALi russsell killed of what was left of the atmosphere with the gold silver bronze and the ticket hikes. there is no doubt about this, many people that had been in groups were broken up by these moves as some stayed and others moved.

Fundementally the biggest problem was making the upper loft all gold apart from the corners

now songs started in Q and R dont carry across the loft to the SAR.

its basic its fundemental and it needs reversing. The commercial dept steamed in with their Hearts style blueprint apparently without any consideration or understanding of the stadium and the fanbase and its dynamics. They were told this last year but insisted on carrying it forward to this season through I think sheer bloddymindedness in the face of all the evidence.

Agreed..... why oh why wasn't the family enclosure put at the School End of Ellerslie Road!..... blindingly obvious to me!

Agree, i allways try and sing when songs are going round (i sit upper loft lu block)... But its tuff with some people around...

But we can really make a difference! We need to get more vocal!
