  • minutes applaus for Ali Faurlin

Gents I know we have some long term injuries but I think Ali Faurlin is in our hearts as Rs fans and has been at this club a long time and has 2 horrific injuries, think it would be good for 37.000 Rs fans to applaud and sing his name There's only one Ali Faurlin for a minute when the clock hits 32 mins his Squad Number on Saturday<
whats the concensus of opinion guys think of the lift it would give him to know he's not been forgotten, if so pass it on to all Rs fans for Saturday

      Definitely, let's make this happen.
"Imagine a relationship that went wrong but you held on in there for years: that's what it is like supporting a football team. Your loyalty to a team can never die. Ties are stronger than they could ever be with a woman. If she goes and sleeps with your best mate, it's over. If the Rs' boss, Ian Holloway, slept with my best mate, QPR would still be my team. Even if many of the things that you loved about going to matches have gone - terraces, team shirts without sponsors and being able to smoke at grounds - you still stick with your team." - Peter Doherty.

Great idea. A minute of non stop singing 'Faurlin' from 40k Rangers would be brilliant for Ale!

What about Ray Jones and/or Kiyan Prince especially as it was 8 years ago yesterday since Kiyan passed away?

I know its sad that these guys are no longer with us and its the anniversry of Kiyan's death, But Ali will be there on Saturday, just thought it would be great to hear 37.000 Rs fans are hoping for a speedy recovery
we also have Matty phillips and J.J injured long term, but think Ali holds a special place for us Rs fans after what he's been through

Fellas back in training I'm told. Let's concentrate on getting behind the players on the pitch.

Not a huge fan of clapping for a player or manager at a certain minute. makes me cringe when other clubs do it! surely the boys on the pitch deserve our undivided attention? Think there are more worthy causes than someone who has been injured for 2 years. You can send him get well messages on twitter! and does this continue for every player that gets injured?

A player who undoubtedly would have starred for us this season, yet unfortunately, through bad luck, got badly injured again. What harm will it do singing his name for a whole minute? Faurlin is an important member of the squad and is very much liked by his team mates. If I was playing and I heard 40k singing the name of my fellow professional for one minute it would spur me on even more.
