Funny how all these Dar bee fans are on our site! Anybody would think they are a little worried!!!!!

Just interested in the gossip and "mature" banter that's all. Judging by some of the vile and offensive comments on this thread (I'm not tarring all QPR fans with the same brush) I'm guessing, your either a little worried about us, some people are suffering from little man syndrome.

We may not be the most famous city in the country or the most successful football club (I wish) but if you care to explore Google a little you'll find out a bit about the area including: home of Rolls Royce, headquarters for Toyota UK and the odd (some very odd) famous person. In terms of football there's: founder members of the football league, 2 league titles (how many for QPR?), 1 FA cup win (how many for QPR?), 4 FA cup finals (is it one for QPR?), 65 seasons in the top flight of English football (is it 22 for QPR?).

I've seen a few posts about you southerners financially supporting us poor northerners. Well, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you're in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham where the unemployment rate is around 4.3%. In Derbyshire it 2.1% (below the national average).

So, lets all just calm down and have some mature (I wouldn't say friendly) banter.

Good reply and banter, seriously if you asked any Tom **** or Harry in the street they would answer Derby.....a famous horse race, right

I think that is more to do with the fact your fans have acted like complete and utter dicks and that you seem to think you're the biggest club in the world and the game is already won and all you have to do is turn up to get the trophy.

We have had little history with each over the years so I don't understand your fans attitude to be honest , I can only put it down to northern insecurities because we're a London club.

So in terms of what the city is famous for.... the answer is nothing. Neither of those companies originated in Derby, they just have manufacturing hq's there. Is that really a claim to fame?

Fair enough tam, but lets face it, the banter that goes on amongst football fans is nearly always tongue in cheek exaggerated misconceptions. In the old days tribes used to murder each other so even if it seems a bit ott, we've come a long way since then.
As has already been mentioned above, we probably wouldn't have given your club more than a couple of posts worth of attention given how nondescript you are but one of your fans came onto our board acting the c ock and looking for a response.
If you find another fans forum offensive there is an easy solution, don't look !
If you find the t its on page 3 demeaning to women, would you still buy the sun every day just to complain
