The board have long known the potential support our club has, just that many haven't bothered going in recent years because we've been rubbish. They know how many season ticket holders and members we have, and, crucially, they also know how many are on the database.

A new stadium along with a good team and good ticket prices will entice the casual supporter to more games, along with attracting new fans. Despite what the Gang of Four have stated many times, a 30k stadium simply isn't going to be enough if these factors are met.

As I asked the other day, who are these people that members and season ticket holders are bringing to Wembley, and what would persuade them to come to more games? If these questions can be answered, we could fill a 40k stadium.

Only if all those who brought tickets and all those going just because it,s a trip to wembley turn up week in at the new ground which they they don't at the moment, sometimes can't get 18000 let alone 30.000 - 40.000

IMO the key point is price, since the prem was formed the ticket prices have escalated beyond control and as a result it is no longer a working mans sport. Most people can not afford to go week in week out and found other things to do at the weekends, thats why when we get to big games like this we sell out. As they save and use it as there day out.

If we brought the tickets prices back to where a working family can go to football week in week out without breaking the bank then yes, however if we think we are going to charge £30 / £40 for an adult and £20 for a junior then no.

The support IMO is there however you need to make it attractive so they start to change what they now do on a football day.

TF likes to do things budget wise lets see what he does with the new stadium, because with the increase capacity they should reduce the prices, as with Loftus road being so small that has always been the excuse why it is so expensive.

Correct, so the trick is then to persuade those people to come to more games. IMO, the fan base is there, as Cardiff and Wembley has shown.

A new area could make for an easier match day experience. The current one involves cramped conditions and perhaps most importantly of all factors, the dogfight for parking spaces. This is what needs addressing most, I commented about this on the survey, the parking around LR is dismal, which puts a lot of people off

It amazes me that nobody ever takes into consideration the view from the seats at Loftus Road as a potential reason why we don't sell more tickets for league games. Yes the standard of football plays a big factor but in all honesty i wouldn't want to sit anywhere in the Ellerslie Road stand and most of the South Africa road stand is just as bad! In a new stadium with no restrictions in view and space I’m fairly certain we would have 25K plus week in week out regardless of the teams quality. Saying that anyone who thinks this one off occasion is a good indication of how we would fair in a new stadium would in my book be very naive to say the least.

So, do you know who season ticket holders and members are buying extra tickets for? Would you say they're all non-Rangers fans?

We have a massive fan base but I'd say a lot of fans going to the final hardly ever go due to family and job commitments, financial restrictions or they're living abroad etc. We'd sell out 30k every week with the right pricing imo.

Also we need to offer other entertainments (as I mentioned in the survey), performers at half time or even at the end of the match. Also a good quality of food and drink is required. People these days are used to snacking all day long and do not wish to sit for what is probably 2 hours without food or drink. Loftus Road was great maybe 30 years ago, but today people's expectations are much higher.

I still think 40,000 is a massive shout for our stadium atm. I do believe we got a bigger fan base then some give us credit for but I wouldnt look into us selling 37,000 ticketsd at wembley too much more than its a play off final and first time we been for nearly 30 years.... filling a 40,000 stadium every other week is another story..
Alot of the fans coming to the match on saturday will be just a one off as its a special occasion..ie for example theres 15 of my family going all love qpr to bits but out of the 15 2 of us go a few times a year and reckon there be alot like that....personally 30,000 seater with room to grow if we are successful, i worry anything bigger initially then there will be alot of empty seats

I think another reasons that more than the diehards aren't going now is the fact none of us are dwarves and the leg room could get reported to The Hague for violating the Lieber code.
