  • Good Afternoon

Thought it was time to enter the 21st century so this is my first post on my first ever QPR Forum.

Very much looking forward to the Play-Off Final. All being equal I'll be there which means I'll have attended all 5 games Rangers have played at Wembley.

Was a 7 year-old lad when we beat West Brom in '67. I was crying at half-time and delirious at the end. It was a ****** long walk back to Acton, and my dad wouldn't let me stay up and watch the highlights. We were robbed by Spurs in '82 because of the premeditated crocking of Clive Allen.

In '86 we just didn't turn up against Oxford, that was such a depressing day. Here's hoping May 24th 2014 makes up for it!

    Hi & welcome Romney.
This will be our first Wembley appearance I have missed, but I'm hoping to be there in spirit with the help of posters on here providing plenty of photos/videos of the whole day.

                            That you vespa, nice scooter!

Hoping this isn't going over the top, I've been reminiscing today and memories from yester decade have been popping out from somewhere deep inside the grey matter.

Rodney's amazing hat-trick against Birmingham. Was standing on South Africa Road. Rodney was my absolute hero, I was gutted when it was announced he was being sold for 200k to Man City.

Running on the pitch at the end of the game after we beat Burnley 2-0 during the 1973 promotion season. At least I think it was that game! Standing as before.

The first ever match on astroturf against Looton. Going 1-0 up and losing. Sat in the School Upper, South Africa Road side.

Clive Allen's late goal in the FA Cup Quarter Final against Palace. Was sitting in the Loft Upper for that one. Have always remembered that they announced the attendance very early on that day. 24,563 sticks in the mind, could be miles out.

Winning 6-2 at Highbury in the UEFA Cup, only to lose the second leg 4-0. Sat in the East Stand.

The 5-5 draw with Newcastle. I resisted the temptation to leave at half-time. Had a terrace Season Ticket in the Lower Loft that year, they were quite a *radical* idea at the time.

6-0 against Chelsea. Enough said. Sat in the South Africa, what is now probably the C Block.

The Oldham play-off home leg. Ellerslie Road, S Block.

Monday night against Wigan. I normally go in Ellerslie W, but with some sort of lovely symmetry with 11 years earlier, was in S Block again.
