I didn't realise Clint was in the Oldham team we played in the playoffs that night at LR.
Btw Clint was involved in his own substitution on monday, he and arry thought it would be better to get someone on to get forward down that side.
Selfless act from a superb skipper and servant

Clint Hill has been superb for us, hasn't he?
Didn't realise he played for Oldham in that other memorable play-off semi-final at Loftus Rd in 2003, sure glad he was on the winning side this time.

      Amazing
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Would you say Clint or Joey would be gutsy or intelligent managers, or both? None of them for me. Mourinho, Pellegrini, Rogers, Angelotti, they're intelligent managers, is what's better for a club, sorry to say.

Id disagree - look at tony pulis whos just won fm of the year at palace. Steve bruce at hull has done a sensational job at hull and they are complete opposites to the types you've mentioned. the pellegrinis, mourinihos are sutied for the champ league elite teams but we certainly dont fit the category. Clint or joey could be sensational managers you just dont know until someone gives them a go.
