The FA couldn't do anything more with the fixtures tbf as they couldn't be any sooner. The FA cup final had to be first as that will likely have more World cup players involved, and the championship play off is already first instead of last like normal, because of the world cup.

What is a farce is that there hasn't been prior allowance for the championship play off final the same as there has for the Champions league final... The fact that has clearance sets the precedent so its a farce other end of season matches aren't approved also.

Anyway SK are being stupid if they block him playing because it would be in their interest because he's hardly played all year so will be nowhere near his best match fitness, meaning a competitive match under his belt would benefit them for the world cup.

He could get injured at any time (though I don't think he has a record of being injured.

The problem is he is Korean and therefore tends not to question his superiors (in this case the Korean football manager). Most players would contact their manager and explain that they would really like to play for the club at Wembley (which probably Krankjar did). However I do not think this is the case with Yun.

I read that he is the only Korean player who can play in this position, as the other player is injured. This really should give him the upper hand, because it sounds like Korea have no other choice than to play him whatever happens.

Well the champions league final is same day as our game and all those players have been granted permission to play by UEFA request so for me the precedent has been set and we should kick up a right fuss

If that is the case then he is in a weaker position as they can't risk injury...

If he does the defiant thing and stays with the team until the final I hope Harry actually does the right thing and plays him, otherwise what would be the point?
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

It's ridiculous that Harry has ignored him all season. He's a class young player who should've been first choice LB all season, yet instead we wasted a small fortune paying for BAE who proved to be a liability in many games, and since Hill, who is equally inept at times, as was the case in the semi, more concerned with hand up trying to get offside than actually watching his player.

This is the guy who played really well for SK in the Olymics 2 years ago against the likes of Neymar et all, and has made the World Cup squad, yet deemed not good enough for the championship this season... wtf is that about.

Have to say that is a very fair point.

Also against a very young Derby side, his pace will be extrememly useful
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

This has been massively blown out of proportion. In the original article it stated some players had been given permission to attend on May 25th, the same will apply to Yun, don't worry.

Hope you're right Mattyqpr. Will definitely need some pace against Derby

The only official loophole for clubs is the champions league final. No other fixture has clearance, so the nations involved could insits their players report for duty. Hopefully they will see sense, but the whole thing is a farce anyway. Clubs pay the players wages, so regardless of fixtures, if they have any competitive matches left for their clubs they should be made available and report for their nation at the earliest opportunity thereafter.

Put it this way, would you want to stop a young South Korean playing at arguably the most famous stadium in the world, 3 weeks before a world cup, if you was his manager? Not a chance! Common sense will prevail and Yun will join up on Sunday/Monday.
