I think playing around better players and better coaching, this guy could replace Lambert and Carroll in the England squad, if Hull had signed him, I think he would have been on the plane, he gets very little service with us, missed 2 months of the season and still hits 20, wow, HR is a lucky man, he just about nabbed him and that's another point, he didn't even have a preseason with us, that's why it took him a while to get going .
All we need now is the right man alongside him, funny enough, Andy Carroll would be great alongside him, we think of him as a big man up top but he reminds so much of shearer' who had Sutton next to him and flourished , he could have a similar type of partner.
Then again, this guy is so flexible, a smaller striker next to him like Rhodes, McCormack, Deeney, Hooper or if we are really lucky, Remy, we could be in business, our best striking partnership since Bowles,Givens, Bannister Bryne, Allen Goddard, Allen Stainrod, Furlong Gallen.
We haven't had a partnership for a longtime, if we get that right, we will be well on our way, regardless of what division we are in.
Cor blimey gov, what a rant by myself, I am not excited, first trip back with QPR since Oxford, also suffered the Spurs defeat, 3rd time lucky!Kept the faith!

This is another reason why wiining the PO final is so important for QPR (and Derby too so that they can keep hold of Hughes).
Just imagine QPR partnering Austin with Remy in the Premiership. I know the latter wants to go to a top side, but wanting and getting are two different things. As he is contracted to QPR, the decision to sell is still up to the club.

remy is offski whether we are prem or championship....As for Austin I think it would be safe to say unless a stupid offer came in for him he will be at QPR for atleast one more year IF we dont go up.
The boys a class act and I dont think he'd disappear after the one season. If we didnt go up the year after I dont think any of us would begrudge him the chance to have a go in the prem.
But it dont matter because hes going to be leading our line in the prem next year

Was he at the match monday night cheering us on cos he cant wait to pull the hooped shirt back on in the premiership?
This place amazes me sometimes, remy coming back. Ha ha ha ha. How many more times are we going to go through this. Not a chance on this world. Please realise that.
Does anyone know if remy or adel or eligible for the final at wembley if we recall them? *Last edited by Kevin Mcleod; 14-05-2014, 10:43 AM.

if we don't go up someone will be for Charlie 20 goals as season, not many can do that, but its a massive step up to Premier League and not all great championship stirkers have been able to do it, Danny Graham for example22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
