I suggest you read what people actually write before making statements that are completely wrong. I have never said anyone deserves a ticket ahead of ST holders or members, that's an absurd comment. If you read my posts, i have actually repeatedly said, i think it would be right for ST holders and members to be able to buy 2 tickets each should they wish, before they then go on general sale!

What i object to is the fact they can all potentiall buy 4 tickets before general sale which may prevent loads of Rangers fans getting tickets.

And lets not get precious about it, all "additional" tickets ST holders and members buy will be for people who arent ST / members either, so what exactly is the difference, other than potentiall people who have never been or barely have any interest in QPR will get hold of tickets just because they know somebody who can get extras and they may fancy a final, rather than actual fans.

totally agree with this post. I have been to games this year but I should be a priority over facto's kid mates who are manu/ chelsea fans
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

The clubs first aim is to ensure all season ticket holders and members get a ticket.

The second aim, and the reason why the limits aren't big per person to begin with, but grow over the phases, is so everyone gets a fair chance at the best tickets.

Lastly, the club want to reward season ticket holders and members for their loyalty.

The only people moaning here are people who didn't want to invest 10 pounds in a membership when tens of thousands of others did, why should they get any say in the matter?

For the people suggesting it should have been season ticket holders, then members but x per member, how would you feel as a member, who has been to many games this season, paid the full membership price at the start of the season, goes to buy his ticket for wembley and either can't buy a seat at all because they have sold out, or, can't buy the category he wants because other members have bought more tickets for non members?

Likewise, if the club had left out the phase where members can buy additional tickets, how would this be fair to the members?

What the club have done is reward loyalty which is fair!
        I dont agree.

I have no issue with ST holders having priority to buy 2 tickets - why do they need more - to take their friends and family who probably dont support QPR but fancy a day out at Wembley?
Members should be allowed 1 ticket, after that general sale for those on the club's database. That would be close to seeling out 37,000 tickets and would reward all QPR fans.

the option to buy 4 tickets per ST holder is likely to lead to many tickets being sold on for a profit, presumably to help the ones who buy the top price tickets a chance to recoup their outlay, and stuff the fans who didn't by a ST or take up membership, because they are not true fans (I have been regularly attending games since 1977)!

          Spot on Del.

there will be about 10,000 QPR 'fans' at Wembley like the ones who were there in 1986 for the Milk Cup final when QPR sold 60,000. How many of those 'Wembley' fans went to subsequent QPR games in the 80s & 90s when QPR stuggled to get 14,000 for home games?

We will do definitely, the question is whether that will be general sale or before. Originally I thought definitely get about 4 or 5k or more to general sale, but the more I look at the way it is being allocated the less sure I am that many will go on general sale at all.

The other issue is that if there is only say 2k on general sale the online ticketing goes into meltdown the moment they go on sale.

Certain of it. It's on our doorstep and happens to be arguably the best stadium in the world... there's plenty of people who will be able to get a ticket from a mate or relative and will go because they fancy it, not because they're die hard Rangers fans.

No, I dont live in London, which is another factor due to additional travelling cost getting to games that it's often difficult justifying the expense going these days when finances are very tight with just my income and young kids. Money is always needed for something else.... I miss the days of having ST's and less stress, life was easier back then!

I know a few people local to me who support QPR but they aren't ST holders either.
