Not having a go at fellow R's but why all this moaning about losing out on Wembley? Since Jan membership has been £10 and back then it was obvious we'd finish in the playoff places so £10 is a small price to payto guarantee your ticket
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

Plenty of us believed we would.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Were talking a tenner Yousef so have Soton bang right its not about if we get Play Offs or not its about supporting and contributing to your team

People will not think twice about blowing a tenner on booze or fags but but supporting your club with a £10 membership fee is seen as too much until people think the membership is of advantage to them then uproar

Yeah hindsights great, and I considered it at the time, but that's £20 for me and my son which I couldn't really justify when we probably wouldn't get to any games.

Anyway, the reason I didn't was because I thought that if by chance we did get to Wembley, with nearly 40k tickets our club wouldn't **** up the allocation and it wouldn't be a problem getting some..... How naive of me to think our club would do anything logically.

Anyway why didn't people who wanted to be members didn't do so at the begining of the seasson? It was only 30 quid

Because as said above, when you need to buy multiple memberships it adds up. Combine that with circumstances that will dictate you probably wont got to hardly any, if any games during the main season, then it's a lot of outlay you might not be able to afford or justify for potentially no benefit whatsoever.

Especially after already paying out for the annual renewal of QPR player, to then discover they put pretty much everything on youtube this season anyway!

Anyway, like I said, with nearly 40k tickets they shouldn't be f%^king it up!

Why do people think they have f ucked it up (serious question as I have only really looked at the season ticket entitlement as thats what applies to me)

Season ticket and Members guaranteed a ticket then general sale whats wrong with that?? genuine question

Nobody has a problem with priority to ST holders then members, but its not just entitling them a ticket, it's a 4 phase system that allows ST holders and members to potentially buy 4 tickets each, before any go on general sale, which is ridiculous. They should have the option of 2 each in my opinion, ie phases 1-3, then go on general sale.

I did the same. Was a s/t holder for 25 years until 2 years ago when kids and finances made it too difficult but this season around Jan it was obvious to me we'd end up in the playoffs so I bought the membership for £10 and went to a few games. s/t holders and members should get priority and 4 per member is a little too much I feel but for what was a small outlay I will hopefully be taking my 2 kiddies to Wembley. For me the tenner was well worth it. Maybe this will force more to become members and s/t holders as we hopefully embark on a new chapter and better times?

I have to say i agree with del. St should have another phase after general sale.

My issue isn't about paying membership, its that I can only buy 1 ticket so I can't sit with my Dad to watch the game ? Surely 2 per member the day after Season Ticket holders isn't too much to ask ?

I'm sure it's been said that if members don't buy ticket 1 in phase 2, they can buy 2 in phase 3, so you can sit together. Failing that, you can still get 2 in phase 4. It's everyone else who has to wait until after that who might have a problem.

This comment is ABSOLUTELY BANG ON! The allocation is awful – people keep saying that members can buy 4 tickets before they go on general sale BUT WHY WOULD THEY?! I'm a member but if I want to guarantee a seat I have to sit on my todd?

Yes I can get another seat in Phase 2 but it won't be next to me.

Yes I can get another 2 seats in Phase 4 but again they won’t be next to me…

                              It's a farce…
